Kind of old news, but if you own BioShock 1 or 2 on PC you’ll get the remasters for whichever you own at no additional charge. The remasters are out Tuesday 9/13.

I hope they cram in Minerva’s Den for Bioshock 2…are they remastering all 3? Also when is it coming out, I see nothing on steam.

The den is part of it. Infinite isn’t unless it is console, which is still under pc. Out tuesday!
I’ve tried to play the first one twice over the years and always get distracted by something else. Guess it’ll be a good excuse to give it the ol’ college try for the third time! I finally beat Mirror’s Edge the other day after 7 years on the backlog. Maybe I can keep the momentum going! Haha.

MyLifeForAiur what’s weird is in this they say the 15th, but the collection is out the 13th so the free upgrade must be delayed for some reason.
ShiftySatchmo Or with time zone difference as it referenced globally, that it would be out by the 15th maybe? You know how slow steam can be to unlock things.
Only0neKnight either way, it’ll be fun to play the first one again. I’ve been meaning to and this is a good excuse!

ShiftySatchmo I played through 1 & 2 again when Infinite came out. Honestly though they’re such great games that I will probably go back and play them remastered.

Shucks, I have bioshock 2 and infinite… I must have pirated the first game. I recall having to enter a code into GFWL for Minerva’s Den and I can’t find a receipt. I might just buy the whole package again.

gord0 I thought they gave Minerva’s den to anyone who owned Bioshock 2 on steam when the game dropped GFWL. They didn’t have a way to tell if the person own the DLC or not so they gave it to everyone who owned the game at the time when they switched from GFWL to Steamworks. I know that’s how I got it.

Must have happened after I beat it. I haven’t played it since gfwl was still a thing. I also don’t seem to own the first game and Infinite has no remaster. I’ll check what the prices are when I get around to the games. I only added them to my list yesterday, it’ll take a while for them to get to the top.
