Favorite Table Top Game?

I’ve slowly been trying some table top. “Gateway games” as my coworker calls it. My wife and I LOVE to play Pandemic. I bought Ticket to Ride, but we haven’t played it yet.

My question is, what is your favorite Table top game? I’m hoping for some ideas of what else to try. I have or have tried a few others like Munchkin (which we also love), Catan, and Small World. And yes, I’ve played lots of traditional board games for all you smart asses out there

Am I old because I thought you meant something like Clue or Monopoly?

Talisman, with a lot of the expansions. Quite enjoyed King of Tokyo & King of New York, as well as Splendour.

Friend of mine we visited in Australia introduced me to Legendary - Marvel deck building game, it was pretty cool, but they gouge you for all the decks.

ShiftySatchmo I agree, I saw the writing on the wall & bailed before I sunk any more student loan into it. But it’s crazy how Wizards of the Coast ended up buying out TSR!

Legendary is fun in that you play as a team against a Villain deck that is random & not played by anyone, so you can win/lose against the Villain & then if you win, you count up points to see if you win/lose against your teammates. Being Marvel they split it up into different characters, so you need to buy teh XMen expansion, or GotG, or Deadpool, or Wolverine etc. then those packs normally come with a Villain set & a Nemesis for them to play against… It got very confusing, but then playing with Deadpool as the Villain, where every “hostage” became a Chimichunga and then he does random things depending on whether or not he’s winning or loosing etc… it was even more mind melting.
