So you’re using the on board gpu??

I should probably retire my i5 3570K soon.

I should probably retire myself soon

I had no need for new GPU. My Vega 64 is doing just fine.

My Vega is still going strong. I’m looking forward to the next gen that is hopefully less hot…

Me too. So far Vega can perfectly run all the games I’m playing.

I’m looking forward to amd punching above mid-range in their gpu department. Took them a decade to become actual competition again in the cpu department, how long must we wait for them to make good gpus again? I had an amd gpu in every pc I’ve had (I’m talking since way back in the ATI days) up until the most recent when i said fuck amd, I want ACTUAL top of the line. I’m not paying attention to them until they release an xx80 ti competitor.

For someone who wants a high end gpu, that’s fair enough. On other side I don’t need a high end one so AMD gpus work fine for me.

I wonder when will I upgrade my 2080. That thing runs 4k like its a joke. I want 8k now.

I only upgraded from my 1080ti (which was doing a lot of games at 2160p or higher at max setting >60fps) so I could get 4k at >120hz). I wasn’t planning on upgrading for a while otherwise. You should be good for a while.

You should’ve waited for Ampere which is literally coming out in few months

Meh. If my 1080ti is still worth 500-600 cad used, so will my 2080ti.
