Well I finally got on the band wagon…but only because it’s actually a full game now. Fucking episodic shit. So far so good.
Tried on Ubuntu 16.04… biggest linux fail I’ve had so far. The other games I’ve tried at least ran properly (albeit few with good performance). This one has some sort of issue with drawing to the screen. Just solid colors for everything but text and that was even jumbled. Can’t be assed to jump through the hoops of tech support. Also they only officially support MESA drivers meanwhile ignoring AMD’s official drivers (AMDGPU-Pro).
So rebooted to Windows. Runs close to perfect at 1440p60/max settings in Crossfire but with random frame dips. Runs perfect in single card.
gord0 I have the first episode, it was not bad but not enough for me to run out and get the rest of it unless I find it dirt cheap.
Summer sale is coming up, it was cheap to begin with so it should have a nice deal during that time. I’ve only played about an hour so I haven’t played beyond the first ep to even tell you how good or bad it is. Probably in a few days I’ll have a lot more to say.

Unless it is 95 cents I won’t be getting it, I am flat busted until the Third of next month and I am sure the sales will be done by then.
So I beat this game last night, it’s a very excellent story. Though they should have ended it one chapter earlier. Once a game stops introducing new mechanics/challenges, there is a finite time until the player gets annoyed the game hasn’t ended. Even with such a good story. By mid chapter 5 all I wanted was for the credits to roll.
I chose to save Chloe. That was my mission for the first 4 chapters, if you’re gonna drag me through chapter 5 I’m completing my mission! Besides, fuck the other people.
