Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death

So this is my next game! I didn’t google but I’d say it was originally an early ps3/xb360 game… or maybe a dreamcast game… it has a really arcady feeling to it. It’s a 3rd person brawler with a cheesy story. But it doesn’t matter. it’s mindless fun. Since it’s a remaster of an old game, it should run on a toaster. The only graphics option is resolution, so yeah a solid 1440p60 out of the box and has no problem with crossfire enabled. Recommended!

So that game was fucking good. Recommended. Everyone should play it.

Is it a one off or are there sequels?

gord0 Unfortunately there are no sequels. The dev team stopped making games because they transformed into some kind of casino equipment manufacturer interblock XD

Shitty.

Based off the picture I thought this game was going to be just dirt crap. Loaded up the steam page watched the trailer, looked at a few pictures, read a few reviews. Now I kinda want to actually buy the game. I think I can get behind a $5.50 god of war clone.

It’s a completely diff feel than god of war. But you’ll love it.

Been playing this on Steam Deck. It runs flawless on it. One of those slightly older games that feels like it was made for the Deck.

Really fun mindless, super over the top, button masher.

Edit: Finished it off. Stupid fun. Short palette cleanser of a game. Sure the fixed camera and control scheme feel pretty aged and you’ll fall to your death plenty, but it’s just fun. Flawless performance on Deck, for 5 bucks it’s almost a must play on that thing.

Try Enslaved Odyssey to the West. It’s similar to Marlow Briggs but 10000x better. I begged @ShiftySatchmo to play it but he ignores pretty much everything I say.
