Problyā¦ I paid for a pro controller for my wiiu and a classic controller for my wii, so itās nothing new for meā¦ heck i bought a 360 and a xbone controller for my pc so itās pretty normal for me lol

Katsuo the standard grip has a USB C port you can plug into to charge Iām pretty sure. I think the charge grip has a battery so you can charge wirelessly.
Katsuo also, if the controllers stay charged for 20 hours this will never be an issue haha. You just snap them onto the system when it is docked when you arenāt playing and tadaaaa

Katsuo nah I think the grip itself has one too. But as you said, it doesnāt matter! The only way I would not get the switch is if they increased the price to $500 and cancelled zelda.

Katsuo haha I might get another repair of Joy cons eventually, but meh it starts with two so thatās cool. I wonāt do the monthly subscription unless some online game comes out that teh_g sYnCroSis demand we play

Spinalfailed as a Wii U owner I can say this is not an updated Wii U. But hey, not everyone has to like everything! Also, what do you mean XB1 offered a lot more? Graphically this isnāt that far off, itās single controller can turn into two controllers for multiplayer, the system itself becomes a handheld. $200 is a big difference.
Wii u had a portable interface. This has a portable interface. Instead of being tethered to a single location you can go placesā¦ Like one of the DS models that have been out forever. The battery life sucks. Nintendo seems to want to cash in on the same 5 or so IPs. I just stopped buying because of nostalgia. Do i want to play Zelda? Sure but not at $400

Spinalfailed xbox 360 was a box with a controller. XB1 was a box with a controller. Wii U had a distance of like 15 feet so now being able to go anywhere is a pretty big leap. Every console cashes in on core franchises. Every console (and even pc) ports and remasters old games to make more money. Also, donāt forget most people didnāt buy a Wii U so yes, they will try to make money off of a few existing titles. If by ājust like a dsā you mean it can be a portable gaming system and thatās it, then sure? I canāt hand my wife a controller on an airplane and have her play DS with me though, and it sure as heck wouldnāt look as good. As for the battery, 2.5 to 6 hours is what I get on my vita and Iāve never had an issue.
Anyhoo, like I said, people have reasons not to buy it and Iām just showing you itās OK for other people to want to buy it. Iām super pumped that I can travel and take this with me. Heck, even the dock is tiny if itās a long trip Iāll take the whole thing.

The battery life for gaming is pretty much the same on all handhelds including phones. Games drain the fuck out of the battery. Play a 2d game and get 6hrs, play a 3d game and get less (depending on how hardware intensive the graphics are). Phones normally last a long time because most of the time yourāre not playing games. Iāve never had a ds or vita last over 6hrs ever.
gord0 yeah and even laptops are like 1 to 3 hours when gaming.
