gord0 Too bad people will still support this and spend money for the game and the microtransactions. Personally, I’ll wait for the game to appear on Bundle Stars for $4 because in my opinion, the game is already worth that much even if it’s not released yet. Ridiculously stupid from them to put such a stupid thing into a single player game.
I really hope people will stop being stupid as a wheel and stop supporting this…whatever you call this trend of spending money on crap.
The microtransactions in single player games are ridiculous.
I was lazy. Are the microtransactions just stupid cosmetic things or things that matter? If it’s things that matter I care and will be grumpy, but otherwise I don’t care.

Game enhancing. There’s also mp sorta like that mgs5 fob jank. Microtransactions make you win that too. Watch the vid.
shiftysatchmo So far we only know that you can buy orcs for your army. You can buy a legendary orc to get it immediately or you can get that same orc by grinding like an idiot. I assume, you’ll need a lot of these orcs to progress through the game. Especially now that they changed the Nemesis system.
katsuo if the grinding is fun I don’t mind. If the game is broken unless you pay (more than the initial $60) I will just play part one again XD
shiftysatchmo I doubt it’s fun or anything similar. I mean, if it’s fun and all that, then no one would buy their crappy loot boxes or whatever they are xD
I think it will be something like:
- Kill 500 orcs
- Collect 500 souls
- Craft the souls with shards via Soul slapper
Soul slapper can be reached after level 999.
HINT: it takes an hour to gain 1 level
shiftysatchmo Or buy a loot box and get all that instantly and finish the game in 20 hours
katsuo haha well a ton of games sell stupid cosmetic crap and experience boosters that no one needs but apparently people buy them.
shiftysatchmo I only understand that if the game is free to play. League of Legends has that, Path of Exile has that etc. People spend a lot of time playing these games so yeah, they kinda feel like they should reward the devs by purchasing skins for a hero or whatever.
If it turns out to be as bad as it sounds, I’ll wait a year so my purchase doesn’t bump their launch sales.
katsuo I like it because it makes games like gears of war 4 have free dlc like maps and stuff. Have fun funding my free maps with your cosmetic purchases, suckers!

The problem isn’t cosmetics.
gord0 he mentioned LOL so I thought we switched to discussing micro in general, not just this game. Anyhoo, I’ll refrain from judging too much until they release more details. I mean, do these super orcs make the game too easy? Is it just pay to cheat for people who suck at games? We shall see
On my list of games to buy, I’m adding in brackets beside this game: “don’t buy any earlier than 1 year after launch so you don’t add to their launch numbers, also be very critical in first two hours”
katsuo yowza! 75 GB of loot crates
