The game is good. And the save slot is easily unlocked for free. Not sure why is everyone raging about it.
I think the main problem is konami made a generic zombie shooter after the main zombie craze was over and slapped the metal gear ip on it. No better than their pachinko machines. In a couple months they’ll probably patch in a battle royal mode. It’s just more steam clutter.
I see nothing wrong with zombies survival games still being made and released. Dying Light is doing a great job so why not give it a chance to Metal Gear Survival? It’s not a bad game at all. I mean, it has a freaking single player campaign which is connected to The Phantom Pain. I’m 6 hours in and I’m enjoying the game quite a bit. I still don’t understand why all the hate…

I did get it for free but it’s not a grind. You just have to log in 10-15 times or so and you’ll get enough points for a save slot. But why would anyone need any extra save slot in this game?

Still just a bunch of chores. Still don’t like babysitting games. The MG ip deserves better than to be attached to one. Marginally better than a mg themed pachinko machine.
