looks good i guess…what you guys think?
DANTE looks pretty solid for a single card especially. Crazy that 4k gaming is still tough to get decent.

GTX970 Performance at Mainstream Card pricing… or what People expected from the GTX 1060
MeFFFlenn Reference GTX970 performance at the expense of heat & sound… I hope that they AIB partners don’t put too much of a premium on for decent cooling & OC. It will be interesting to see what NVidia will do with the 1060. I’m in two minds if they’ll battle it out for the mainstream or go “GTX1060 pay more because it’s better”.
RX 480 and GTX 970 are both TDP 150watt GPU… so no expense of heat or heatsinks been needed that much.

If you are saying that Asus, MSI, Gigabyte etc. can get away with their normal cooler designs? I agree. I was stating that to come in at the price point the reference RX 480 doesn’t seem to have an adequate cooling solution. Looking at the complaints over cooler noise, how hot it runs, whether at standard clock or OC.
This is just my inference from the reviews I’ve read as I won’t have any hands on with the card.
Also it looks like the GTX970 is having price cuts, so NVidia can use that as its battle for mainstream consumers. Early adopters will always pay asking price to be first on the wagon.
Just got mine installed this morning. If nothing else, it’s faster than my 770 and a lot quieter lol.
This is everything maxxxed out at 1080P. I don’t have any of my benchmark stuff installed on my personal PC.
Edit: This is Shadow Of Mordor
LetsGetIt1220 hey, that’s pretty solid!
