Blue Yeti Microphone

Has anyone used one of these?

I have a nice set of headphones, and have been using a ModMic for years. I am out of replacement sticky pads to keep the microphone on my headset, so the rational solution was to look for a desk mounted mic.

The Yeti seems to be one of the most popular at least?

yessssssssssssss

I’m too lazy to watch the video, is it worth the extra for the X?

I’ll let you listen to my ASMR video first as a reward.

How much is the vanilla?

$130. BUT, I can get a kit with the stand and shock mount for $200.

Then it’s probably not worth it. The X sounds a lil bit better but not $50 better. I would still get the X because X is a nice letter and shows how edgy you can be.

I decided to be responsible and I just hot glued my mod mic onto the side of my headset… That saves me some money from having to buy a new mic!

I’ll start setting aside some budget money for the Yeti though.
