Poor little Epic is only a couple years old. Doesnt’ anyone remember what a big heapin’ pile of crap Steam was in its first five years of existence?
And to be hating on Epic for making games exclusive, doesn’t anyone remember when steam did that to get started and get people to use it?
And spyware… phhhht. @Zmajuga speaks the truth. People say, well I don’t use facebook, which knows EVERYTHING about you, if you use it, or ever have in the past. Well, have you ever used a search engine? Do you have an email address? Have you bought anything off Amazon? Do you use those little discount cards at the grocery store? Ever walk down the street in a city and saw surveillance cameras?
Unless you live in a hole in the ground and stay there, you are being spied on. Thus is the world we now live in, folks.
I don’t care about the Epic Store. I am just a man of routines, I like my Steam library. I counted less than ten games I don’t own on Steam, for example Diablo 3 or Mass Effect Andromeda. I am fine. I am fine with them using a different launcher. Because I knew they will never be on Steam and sure, it is their game, their launcher, seems logic. I just can’t stand this timed exclusive shit. Tell me it won’t come to Steam. Not happily but I am sure I would buy Borderlands 3 or Exodus on Epic but because I know it will come I need to wait. I am not the best earning man here to buy games twice.
When Epic showed up they said it will be better for developers. So far all the exlusives were decided by the publisher. The publisher who only cares about the more money. I would love to see an article a couple of months from now to see that extra money made it to the developer. I have little hope. Why not make Epic more competitive by lowering prices? 5 euros, 10 euros, the consumer will decide.
All in all, I am just a lazy fuck who wants most of his shit in one place. Borderlands 3 hurt because I really love the game and wanted to play it on release, can’t even preorder it because it comes with epic key.
PS: And ffs why review bomb all the previous awesome games which just received free updates? Total dick move. Vote with your wallet. Or use Epic store. I don’t give a butt. This is my own choice not because all the haters or rants on youtube.
