This game is weird. I just started it.

Yeah, when it starts, it feels very weird. Like you donāt really āget itā, you donāt know whats going on.
Donāt worry, thats how its supposed to feel. Its conveying basically what your character is feeling. Keep at it and things will start to make sense to you as to why it starts that way.
Cool. I mean it is fun so far. Itās like if Alan wake started you with the DLC haha.
It grew on me. Combat got way better.

Alright, I finally beat this one! I gotta say, I enjoyed it more than I thought I would after the first hour or two. Everything got more interesting as it went and the combat was solid. What Iām trying to say is the ashtray maze made it all worthwhile (and maybe that weird music video part too). Professor Darling was entertaining to me. I dislike fake endings though; that was annoying. ANYWAY, has anyone played the foundation DLC and is it worth 4 hours of my life or should I move onto the next game? PS: I wish they would make Alan Wake 2 and that thought popped into my head every time I played this game, especially when they kept referencing it.

I found the dlc was spread throughout the game in a way that it just felt like part of the base gameā¦so tbh I donāt remember what parts of the game were dlc vs base.

The actual story DLC ,The Foundation, unlocks after the credits roll.

Itās been long enough that all I can remember is that I completed it.
Finished it. Wierdest and best game Remedy ever done imo. I really loved the lore, the easter eggs to previous games, the fighting, the powers, the livee action pieces, everything. My only problem was with the weapon forms. You always had to select two forms but you could change them anytime, even during combat which made no sense just ruined the flow of gunfight. I would have made it all available with hotkeys at least if the forms had shared ammoā¦but not couning that, my favourite game of 2021 so far. Yes, it only made it to me now thanks to humble montly.

The two dlcs were awesome as well, worth it. I liked Foundation better, but that Alan Wake 2 announcement in AWE is a close second. Ultimatee edition finished.
