So I am guessing that I am going to be fighting a loosing battle here, but who else is like me and likes woman (and I guess it would include guys too) that do their Cosplay without slutting it out? I really prefer that they go authentic to the character (and if dressing provocative is a part of the character then I understand it a bit more) but I would personally rather see good design and well made true to the original design that some woman’s tits and ass hanging out. This is one of the reasons I do like Skadi’s (Kirsten Schuster’s) stuff, she may show some flesh but not to the point that she is whoring herself out. Anybody else agree?

TBH I treat this thread as an eye candy thread. People in costumes alone is boring really. Even a really well done costume isn’t interesting to me.

I suppose you have to be into costumes… to me any costume, no matter how elaborate, is completely uninteresting to me. Yes, if I want porn, I know far better places to find it… but on this forum, the notifications come to me as apposed to me looking for it. So it’s a nice little random 3 to 5 second treat for the eyes.
Sir_diealot It’s all because of Jessica Nigri. She got popular because she has some tits and that’s basically it. As a cosplayer, she’s 0. And for some reason a lot of chicks started doing the same thing as her. They aren’t even getting popular because of that.
But you have to admit that there are a tons of female characters in games that are usually sexualized in one way or another. Nowadays it’s impossible to see a female character in games that isn’t a tit-fest.
My favorite cosplayer is Tasha and I have to admit that she’s flashing her tits all around but the reason for that is that the female characters are like that in game. But the interesting thing is that she got famous for her Kerrigan cosplay which is super sick and not because she was showing her boobs. Her Katarina from League of Legends is also epic.

Like I said if it is part of the character then I understand, though it is a pity woman are depicted that way. I guess I am odd, when all my other friends were chasing the girls with the perfect body I was more into the girl next door that was fat but had a lot of brains and a wonderful personality. She was not an ugly fat girl, she just had weight on her. I also went for the brainiacs that everybody else was intimidated by but I found their intelligence attractive. Not to say I don’t like an attractive body, but that only goes so far. I dated a woman that was a knockout but man carrying a conversation with her was hard work because she had no brains and she is the main reason I now look deeper into somebody before I go for them. Take my GF she is 22 years older than me but she is very smart, has her own way of doing things and we talk wonderfully and because of that I am very much in love with her though my friends just don’t get it. Woman in the town I live in are just not that bright, they have not lived life and my GF who is from Detroit has and that gives us more to talk about.
