The translator must have been shouting, it’s all caps.
This is my next game! It’s a prequel to FFVII. It’s also a remastered version of the PSP version (using UE4). If you ignore the video clip cut scenes that are seemingly just ripped from the PSP version, this game looks and runs really well! I’m running at max settings at 2160p120 (solid 120). It’s one of those games that only lets you chose 30, 60, or 120. It also doesn’t support DSR, so I couldn’t pick a higher res. That said I think most potatoes will be able to run this at max settings at 1080p60.
The gameplay is non-turn-based but different than the FFVII remake and FFXV. I haven’t tried FFXVI yet. You have basic attack plus 4 materia skills. In the upper left UI there’s these sort of slot machine wheels that spin at random intervals while you’re fighting. Based on results you get certain buffs/bonus for small durations. On each wheel there’s a picture and a number. If all 3 pictures match, hitting triangle/Y will set off a limit break skill that does significant damage to all enemies. Sounds kind of stupid and distracting, but it’s not. You barely even need to pay attention to it. Personally I just briefly glance at it every now and again to see if the pictures match. The rest is all just gear selection/upgrading (so far).
Will post more later!
