Gaming Exodus Game Rankings

I think it’s a good thing to have a GX ranking for game reviews etc. We could have simple things as 1-10 or something like that. I know there is something, but there is nothing concrete yet! So let’s talk about it!

Alex i used to review games in GT…hell i even reviewd bf3 and i think it was good enough…: 3

I don’t get it. You want us to rate reviews?

Katsuo No, I want a universal system that everyone on GX will use. For example my next review could be a 6/10 but I want the 6 to be meaning something. We could do something different, like a play of words for it to be unique.

You mean, this?

1 — This is literally a terrible game, I would rather uninstall it than ever open it again.
2 — This is bad, I am only playing out of sheer desire to finish a game.
3 — There are several flaws with this game, poor rating.
4 — Not bad, but definitely wouldn’t be my first choice.
5 — Solid all around. Provides some good entertainment, but nothing terribly memorable. A solid, “meh”.
6 — Very good, a cut above average.
7 — Great, noticeably above average.
8 — Excellent and exceptional.
9 — Incredible, an all-time favorite.
10 — Insurpassable, this is my #1 favorite of all time.

The problem is that reviews are subjective… so are you saying multiple people can review the same game or we have a dedicated section where one person reviews a game, so on and so on.

Numeric values for reviews are meaningless and I ignore all review threads until it comes time that I’m actually considering buying the game, and even then I don’t look at the reviews here. I look at a few quick clips on youtube and if the game still sucks I return it.
For hardware I don’t pay much attention unless I’m in the market, then I start googling.

I agree with sYnCroSis, it’s subjective. I don’t like Final Fantasy franchise. “Meh”. But Katsuo has different opinion about FF. Am I right, Katsuo? So I’ll give to FF 4/10, but that doesn’t mean that it’s bad. So how can we have one universal system?

Whether a system is decided on or not, I’ll still ignore it. lol

gord0 Some will, some won’t. Freeeeeedommmmmm

I like our official scotch review method because the numbers have subjective descriptions

But seriously we have had an official method for months haha. It’s the pinned topic in the reviews section XD
