HyperX Fury DDR4 2666MHz RAM review

Another review fresh off the test bench. This time I take a look at a kit of RAM that has some pretty impressive overclocking capabilities. If you’re looking for some great priced DDR4 with some good performance, you’ll want to check this one out.

LetsGetIt1220 Stop tempting me! At least I have 16 GB of DDR4 already, so it is hard to rationalize getting new memory…

LetsGetIt1220 like that pic <3

teh_g To be honest, 16GB should be fine for most. IF it wasn’t for reviews, that would be all that I would have lol. Very rarely do I come close to utilizing it all, though it has happened a couple of times.

vijaydasr Thanks man

I have had nothing but problems with mine, very disappointed in them, now one stick is causing my PC to constantly crash and give the blue screen of death. I am only running 2 sticks instead of 4 now and yes I can tell the difference big time, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is very chopping with only 8 gig. These are the ones I have. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820104528

Sir_diealot The only thing I could suggest is manually setting the MHz, timings and voltages as some motherboards will downclock them a bit. IF that doesn’t work RMA them as one is definitely faulty, but you will have to send back the whole kit of 4 sticks to get new ones.

I will RMA them but I am not going to be without my PC for a month of more so I am going to order these and when I get the RMA’d ones back used them in a new build in the tower I won. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231928&ignorebbr=1
