So I beat it yesterday. The second half wasn’t that bad until the end. The following is how I wish it ended:

At the part where Abby is beating the shit out of Ellie and Dina comes to try and save her…in my version Dina would succeed and Ellie would get a good word in before a final stab. The little archer boy would run away in fear and be back for revenge in the next game. Then show the little farm house scene but Dina’s never gets mad because Ellie already killed Abby so there’d be no reason for her to leave. Tommy would still show up, but just for a visit. Roll the credits. Oh, and Ellie would keep her fingers so in the next game she would have enough to play guitar properly…orrr maybe she reteaches herself to play with her right hand on the fret board. Only need two fingers for strumming…actually if she killed Abby, she’d never go on the mission in which she lost them.
Very recommended, especially on ps5.
