So this is my next game! I won’t bother explaining the mechanics, it’s mostly the same as the previous two. I’m sure there’s some mechanical differences, but it’s been so long since I played the last one, that I don’t remember…. other than there are two simultaneous characters and one can optionally be played in coop. I’m playing single player and the second char doesn’t seem to cause any issues being controlled by ai (the game kind, not the slop kind). I’m not sure why the game has mixed reviews on Steam though.

Currently running at max settings at 2160p>125 (usually locked at 144, dlss: ultra, rtx: ultra). I was playing without DLSS but one scene dropped into the 50s, so I turned it on at ultra quality. Bumped the fps to a near constant 144.

Edit: I read some reviews, I guess I like the game because I can’t remember the previous two. I just play too many games. That and apparently playing coop is super janky. So I guess just play this one single player and it should be fine. The NPC second player is always spot on in what they’re supposed to do.

Actually, I think one thing that might be a source of “frustration” for these people is that either player can chose either of the characters. It’s not always obvious what to shoot with the bow dude, but if bow dude is an npc you don’t have to think about it much. In my case I’m not playing as bow dude so I’m not being frustrated…at least not so far.

Just beat it! An excellent palette cleanser game. Well if you liked the previous two games. Only 5 or 6 hours. To be safe I recommend playing as the wrench girl in single player mode.
