Need some advice.

I am working on research for some good packing boxes. Need one a little bigger then 17.87 x 8.27 x 21.14 for my PC Tower which is a Raidmax Monster II want to be able to bubble wrap it… but can’t seem for the life of me find a place that doesnt require you to buy 10 boxes at a time and dont need 10 boxes not paying 50+ dollars for 10 boxes and only need 1 that size where the rest can fit in smaller boxes before I ship with UPS.

Edit: Anyone know where to get cheap 28" & 20" Hardsided Luggage with Spinners? Looks like the best option cause I can send it Greyhound Express instead. Everything I keep finding is a little expensive for my budget.

Edit Again: Its worked out, I won’t be shipping my PC… Im taking my RAM & GPU out replacing them with a backup GPU & Ram I have and selling my PC to my mother to risk not damaging the pc and lessen my shipping costs… the future wife has already agreed to let me do it even though she hates the idea of me not being able to have my PC right off. Though shes agreed to let me build the next one anyway I want as long as I teach her to build as well.

if you are shipping it with UPS already, why not just take it there and have them pack it for you?

Thats what we do at my job with high value stuff, or anything we dont’ want to be broke.

They’ve told us first hand thats the way to do it- if you make them pack it and insure it, there are no loopholes if it gets broken.

It may cost slightly more, but its not 50 dollars for 9 boxes you don’t need, and you are guaranteed its safety.

Yea the future wife and I talked and im gonna take my GPU & Ram out and sell my pc to my mother after I put in 16gb of DDR4 I have as backup and a RX 470… And when my mother gets her lawsuit settlement in im getting $1000 from my mother to help me rebuild… its to help lessen costs of shipping & potential damage cause of the Dark Rock Pro 4. And my Future wife wants me to teach her to build one!

I’d definitely take the GPU out before shipping.

If possible, I also highly encourage taking the PC with you (if you’re driving).

Not driving, no license or car. I will be taking the GPU & Ram with me but the rest is staying and my mother is sending me cash. I have backup ram & gpu to put in it for her and when she gets her settlement my future wife already agreed to let me build a new one with it as long as I teach her to build one as well. :slight_smile: In the meantime ill have a chromebook with Steam, Geforce Now & Netflix when I move. Its the easiest way for me to do it and not risk damage and not need a new set of ram and gpu.

Don’t sell the GPU. You might not be able to buy a new one.

Saving my RX 580 and 32gb of ram, putting in a backup RX 470 and 16gb of ram… being smart abou tit.
