I got a Unistellar Odyssey Pro. It’s cool and stuff.
Where are the first hundreds of photos of naked neighbors?
None of these stars are clothed.
I am so jealous.
Literally the only reason I bought it
Oh, and I put this in tech because it’s a smart telescope. It tells you what’s in view, you tap what you want to see, it finds it, you tell it to take image samples to enhance it, and then you capture photos. It’s pretty amazing for backyard stargazing.
Now that I got a smart one, it’s all I can recommend! There are reasonable options out there. If it’s over your budget, a more affordable option I had good luck with is the orion reflector telescope. You can spot things easier with a wide field of view, but you won’t get as much detail.
I thought these things were way more expensive, for some reason. Now I’m gonna get one too to stalk my hot neighbor across the country.
Haha keep in mind the linked ones are for beginners. The smart ones can be $1.5k-4k, easily.
I own this one. It’s how I got started on it: Orion StarBlast II 4.5 EQ Eclipse Plus Telescope Kit
