I just searched for the new series if there is any available in my country. Some shops have them, but the new 3070 costs 6 times more than my 1070 back in 2016. So I wont :smiley:

They unlocked mining for a single card only. If there are >1 cards in the system, the lock works.

Actually got lucky on a new EVGA queue yesterday and got to order today. 3070ti XC3 Ultra should arrive early next week. Not the card I thought I was after, especially 8~ months ago when all this began, but beggars canā€™t be choosers these days.

Edit: Shipped. Update says it should be mine on Monday.

Picked up the B550 Aorus Elite AX V2 off Amazon Warehouse on the cheap and a new 5600x to complete my upgrade. My 2600x wasnā€™t keeping pace with the 3070ti. Gonna slap everything together and fresh install of W10 this afternoon. Ive had too long of a streak of hardware and OS installs going smoothly for a few years now, thereā€™s bound to be an issue this time aroundā€¦ Right? Knock on wood. :wink: :four_leaf_clover:

Everything went smooth and works. I donā€™t think the open box mobo was ever even screwed in. Looked clean anywhere there wouldve been signs of use like the screw holes, shiny PCI shroud, or pins. Always a gamble with open box, but another win on the record.

I bought one of these today. A RTX 3080ti. Best buy was the only place I could find that was selling them MSRP but they sell out the day they stock them. I followed there blog and finally it payed off. Seven months after building my new computer I have a GPU to go with it. Absolute overkill since I wanted a RTX 3070 but hey, I got a promotion a month ago, so I figured Iā€™d go all out.

May I ask the price of the GPU? Here itā€™s 400 euros over MSRP. Not bad but could be better.
