So this is my next game! Been playing it for the past three or four days. Currently playing at max settings at 3055p>60 (usually >80, DSR 2160p). Unfortunately no HDR : /. Also be careful, when you change resolutions, it bumps the max refresh down to 50hz. I had to set it back to 144hz every time I changed it.
Gameplay-wise it’s really fun. I saw a bunch of people pooh pooing it saying it’s too different and not their kind of Oddworld. For me it’s been so long since the last Oddworld I played, that I don’t remember the differences. I’m having fun.

This game is bloody good! Just beat it. It’s hard as fuck but not in the cunty dark souls way. One thing that gives the devs/pubs a bazillion bonus points is that since it’s on console and said consoles can’t handle some cut scenes (without lowering quality), they did the usual video clip cut scenes (not all but about half of them). They fucking recorded them at 4k, max settings, 60fps, no pixelation. They showed that just because your target platform is bitch-tier, you don’t have to ship cut scenes that look worse than gameplay. All devs/pubs that have ever shipped cut scenes that look like ass can eat a bag of dicks from people who rarely bathe…and also dip their dicks in fermented fish oil just to spite you. Not one cut scene in this game took me out of the moment. Fuck all corpo-fuckwits who inflict this travesty on paying customers.
