In 2010 I won a Radeon HD 6990 from amd in a video contest. At some point in 2013 it died on me. AMD sent me a Radeon HD 7970 as a replacement because they no longer made the HD 6990 cards. One 7970 is less powerfull than a 6990. So I ordered a second 7970.
