I don’t know of any reason why you can’t? You’d have to make sure the PS4s themselves are not region locked though. I can’t remember if they stopped doing that or not.

teh_g I wanted to play Phantasy Star Online 2 on jp servers. And I see a lot of people are playing it there. I also know that the game is not region locked and I successfully created a SEGA account. So the PC part is going smooth. BUT I want to play the damn game on PS4! You know, couch MMO gaming. Dream! And for that I need a jp PSN acc and there are a lot of people saying that they are playing it normally but I learned over the years not to trust internet at all! So I’m kinda confused if it’s possible or not. I’m scared :’(
PSN accounts themselves are not region locked and an account for one region can be made on a console from another one. The games however are from how I understand it.

Gorkie Most of their games are region locked but PSO2 is not. Sooooo, I’m ready to make a jp acc and roll into the weeb zone! Fhank you!!

Katsuo I tried to play it, but even with the english patch it just didn’t work out for me cause not all of it translates.
Gorkie I don’t need the translate as I know a bit of Japanese language mihihi. Also they updated the translation thingy and people say that modders translated the game pretty well.
