Replaced Thermal Compound

So this week, I decided to replace the thermal compound on my CPU and GPU. I think it really helped. It doesn’t sound the a jet engine going off especially when I play CS:GO. I used the trustworthy Arctic Silver 5 with Arctic’s Thermal Compound Remover and Thermal Surface Purifier. I should probably run some test to actually see what my temps are now. But anyways, I think it was a good $12.99 spent on maintaining my system. Back to some gaming while the wife is away.

I didn’t even know surface purifier and hoopla was a thing. I just use rubbing alcohol and a microfiber cloth…

I use Isopropyl alcohol and a cloth, gelid extreme paste can also be used to polish the cooler and that’s it  Glad to hear your temps are down

I always use the AKASA TIM Remover as it smells like oranges so I kind of enjoy it

Reminds me I need to change my paste soon here

LetsGetIt1220 I never replaced my stock thermal compound for my Corsair H100. That was almost 4 years ago! It was time!
