Well, the article said they’ll put it in the pre-modern war era. I guess that’s slightly historical (!?) Also, this might be good since the developers are Sledgehammer Games now. The ones that made Advanced Warfare.

Arsononion We kinda don’t know if the game will be historical. Just because you have WW1 tanks and guns, doesn’t mean it will be entirely based on WW1 in terms of storyline and characterization and everything else. The same goes with COD Vietnam. I honestly would like both go history mode but that’s probably not going to happen. I just don’t want them to make a game where everything is made up and has nothing to do with WW1 or Vietnam. But we’ll see.

When did I say I don’t like BF1? The beta was fun! I just don’t have time to play it when there are games I want more.
