So now their app is pointless I guess.
It’s Nintendo so I guarantee you will still need to use it for chat. They are usually dumb like that.

I got the update and can confirm it is audio out only.
I wonder if they are reducing the number of controllers you can connect to it when using audio. I think that was the prior technical limitation was the number of bluetooth channels.
