So this is my next game. I would describe it as poor man’s Uncharted except with magic instead of guns and Indian. It’s fun enough to beat, but I’m not shouting from the mountain tops.

Currently running at max settings at 2160p>60 (usually >100, RTX: off, FSR: Balanced). I suspect AMD sucked off the devs because FSR is the only upscaler option. It looks worse than DLSS but still looks better than stretching a sub-native frame up to native without AI. These days I never notice when I’m using DLSS, not the case with FSR.

It does have that mid 2000s vibe that’s quite nice.

Apparently they’re only using FSR2, which is odd given 3 existed during development. So that makes the upscaling even that much more noticeable.

I’ve actually been side tracked. I got dragged into an old mmo I used to play called Lineage II. Playing on a private server.

Oh man i loved Lineage 2 PVP back in the days. That and Aion were my jaaaaammmmmmmmmmm.

Yeah I played it for years. Right now I’m playing on a test server that’s going to be wiped and go live in September. Getting my skills back. You’d be surprised how much of that game is burned in memory permanently lol.

I think I’ve had my fill of L2 for a while. As for this game, it’s ok enough to play once, but since I’ve forgotten nearly all I’ve already played story and control-wise I can’t be bothered to replay it in order to resume and finish it.

Since you mentioned it, I just jumped back into Aion lol. Currently playing on the GamezAION private server. Will probably be playing for a while. At least it’ll give me time to build up my list some more. It’s still huge but after the last game I completely exhausted all the piratable games.

Aion 2 is coming out too. It looks like ass though

Either they didn’t advertise or it’s mobile slop like that L2 game they attempted a few years back.

It was briefly mentioned during the investors call. It’s still far away from release date.

I’ll give it a try…if it’s free to play or I’m not poor when it launches.

It’s most likely going to be using the same monetization methods like Throne and Liberty. Free but with bunch of pay-to-win boosters to get you to the endgame faster, giving you more advantage to use the economy better.

Well I’m burnt out on Aion… at least the private server version of the original. Will probably play the new one eventually. For now I’m going back to sp games for a bit.
