5 years ago, a lawsuit started against Western Union for unwarranted spam text messages… for the time period of the text messages thousands were sent to many customers who only ever used Western Union Online Services. Western Union settled for Eight Hundred Million dollars to be spread out to thoughs affected, I had gotten many of the messages as well and was signed up for compension for such… I never thought I would see the day that it was paid out, only to get a check in the mail yeasterday for $247.83 from the settlement… It couldn’t have come at a better time, my PowerSupply has been crapping out and needs to be changed, so Tuesday after it clears I will be buying a new power supply with part of it.
