Will be interesting to see how far they back track with all this TPM stuff by the time it is actually released.
I tried win 11 in the past couple of days. I havenāt done fresh install but instead I just upgraded win 10, because I wanted to know which programs will work and which will not.
After first boot I saw it kept all my programs installed (and working), it remembered my desktop settings, and even tabs that were opened in Edge prior to upgrade.
All drivers remained the same except AMD graphic drivers/Radeon software. It was updated by Windows and it came without streaming and recording options in it. After manual upgrade to last AMD Radeon for win 10, everything worked fine.
In the end I was also interested in how well will rollback to win 10 go? It went fast without errors, and kept everything in order as it was prior to upgrade.
Conclusion: Win 11 is fast, there are some issues that need to be resolved (as expected), but in the end Itās basically windows 10 with overhauled UI and some nice new features ( I love dark mode).
Iāll wait for official release to upgrade.
The real questions are, why do you have tabs open in edge and why arenāt you using dark mode in windows 10?
I like Edge and Iām using it.
Iām using dark mode in Win 10 but in win11 it looks prettier.
The real question is, why do birds suddenly appear every time you are near?
Because he stinks. What are these quesitiosnandntirnsn???
Iāve totally been using Edge. It works well and is basically Chrome without the Google crap I donāt want.
Me too! Edge is amazing. Iām also using Brave browser because I like money.
Iāll stick with firefox.
I want to use Firefox, but I ran into enough issues that I gave up. That and the drama with them letting a bunch of browser devs go.
Iām still clinging onto Firefox because I can still do the customization I want. But each major update it has become more cumbersome and I feel like āIām to old for this shitā more and more. Use the duckduckgo browser on tablet. Then I have to use Chrome for work but I donāt really do regular browsing on it.
I tried to use Firefox but tampermonkey works like crap on it if I ran more than 3 scrips simultaneously. I donāt like that.
Iām an opera man myself.

I never liked opera for some reason.
Just bit the bullet and updated to Windows 11. Windows 10 support ends in a week or two. No Iām not registering with their cloud trash in order to get one more year of Win10 security updates.
I used O&O ShutUp10++ to disable all the AI garbage and data theft crap thatās on by default in Windows 11. I recommend everyone use that. Be sure to watch the Jays Two Cents youtube vid showcasing the app before you start toggling things.
I still recommend using the app if youāre staying on 10 because the app works for 10 as well.
I didnāt mind Windows 11 when I was using it, but the constant push for more AI slop, ads in a product I purchased, and other stuff definitely made me angry.
Use that app, it rips it all out or shuts it the fuck off. Also works for the crap in windows 10. I was using it on win 10 for quite some time before I upgraded today. I canāt recommend it enough. But let Jay fill you in, thereās some toggles you probably donāt want to touch.
I update the app and rerun it after each windows update in case the cunts turn crap back on or introduce new garbage.
Iāve just been on Linux for like 1.5 years. I think the only thing I miss is Office, but it obviously doesnāt bother me much.
