Xbox Controler to PC will not work in game And another question

When I did my check they only showed X-Box and the other controllers based on the xbox setup as well as wheels and all. That was going to PC and then Controllers. Wish those guys would have told me I could have used a PS4 one, only systems controllers out that I find comfortable.

Which game were you going to play?

Couple of questions.

Is your Bluetooth version 4.0?

If not, you’ll need Bluetooth 4.0 dongle for your PC to work as expected. I had similar problem and that fixed it. BT v.4 dongles are not expensive (around 6$-10$).

Which model is your Xbox One controler (look under the battely slot for model number)?

You need (model 1708) to work with dongle.

I’ve connected mine to my Android phone and Steam Link also without any official Microsoft adapters.

Project Cars 1/2 Grid Autosport, Dirt Rally, Snow (Not sure if this one is controller enabled or not)

So I would have to wait for a fix if this is the case. Thanks for the update.

I do not know how to tell what version it is. My motherboard is ASUS RAMPAGE V EXTREME/U3.1 LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard if that helps in any way to know.

Controller number 1708 or 170B kinda small print for my eyes.

Thanks for the help.

Install DS4Windows. Games that don’t support ps4 controller will recognize it as an xbox360/one controller.

Thanks. I went and looked after I posted and it does support a controller.

Unfortunately looks like you have a different issue. BT v4.0 is on your mainboard and we have the same controler.
