Tonight I finished "THE FOREST"

It’s a nice crafting survival game with a good story, which I find rare nowadays.

You end up stranded on an island after your airplane crash. There are a lot of mysterious clues to find on the island as the story progress but I don’t want spoil anything.

Graphics are really good and NPC’s looks and moves great. Different weather conditions adds to the immersion.

Sound is also really good and can give you goose bumps, especially during the night.

I can really recommend this game since it’s great to play in coop mode with friends (to be precise 41 hours of relaxed coop with friends in my case). For you who have VR devices, I’ve been told that it’s even better in VR.

Personal score: 8,5/10

You mentioned “friends” a couple of times. What’s “friends”?

Tonight I finished "SHADOW WARRIOR 2"

Certainly one of the best FPS games I’ve ever played and a great successor to part one or the old school Shadow Warrior.

Graphics are great. Different levels, variety of enemies and the already known and some new characters.

Sound and soundtrack are fantastic, especially song when you fight last boss. Lo Wang comments rule throughout the game and dialogs with various characters just adds to the already humorous story. Laugh is guaranteed.

Gameplay is great with a lot of different weapons, skills and combat moves. Side missions (bounties) can become boring but they are not crucial to story continuation.

Story is weaved with dark humor and I certainly enjoyed it.

I can’t praise enough the crazyness of this game. If you already played first game than you know what to expect. If you haven’t then it’s your loss. Highly recommended.

Personal score: 9,5/10

Tonight I finished a game of "CIVILIZATION VI"

Took me 24.5 hours to finish a map.

I got bored in this game and I rarely get bored in CIV games.

There are a lot of improvements to wish for.
Maybe the expansions are bettter but I wouldn’t risk it.

Not the brightest gem in the series.

Personal score: 6/10

Tonight I’ve finished Batman: Arkham Origins

I don’t know if it’s because of my Batman fanboyism or Batman games really appeal to me. This one was no different. Already known combat system, great graphics and atmosphere and overall great gameplay. A lot of people said this one was the weakest in the series but I just didn’t feel it that way. It took me 23 hours to finish main story and I enjoyed every bit of it.

It’s a kind of prequel to Arkham Asylum and I recommend it to all of you, especially Batman fans.

Only one left to go. Next stop: Batman: Arkham Knight

Personal score 8.5/10.

I liked Origins for the story and the amount of bosses it has, but I didn’t like the voice actor changes and I agree it was probably the weakest. You don’t notice it when you play it years after playing the others, but I marathoned through all 4 a few months ago and that’s when you notice. Honestly Knight is so freaking good, that’ll make you notice the difference too. They amp the visuals way up, fantastic story, best voice actors, Gotham is beautiful, and of course… the Batmobile!

I have finished BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT

This game is a perfect ending of a trilogy. The story is by far the strongest part of this game. I wouldn’t mind watching a series based on these games.

Sound is fantastic. Voiceovers perfect.

Then comes the graphics. Visuals are stunning compared to other Arkham games.

Gameplay is same as in other games and I like it. There are some new gameplay elements also but nothing special. Regarding missions I mostly liked story missions. Errand missions are boring uninovative and stupid. In the begining I was excited to play in Batmobile but that excitement fainted very fast. After a couple of good quests with batmobile it became boring (tanks battle when disarming bombs in particular).

Since the game is a console port I must say that I haven’t encountered any game breaking bugs and I got stable fps through the game.

In the end it wouldn’t be a Warner Bros. game if they don’t screw you with 400 Riddler trophies. I’m not that masochist and I didn’t want to lose my time collecting all 400 just to fight Riddler and watch a short movie clip (watched it on Youtube instead).

When I take all into consideration this is a “must play” game for every Batman fan.

Just like with Shadow of War, I’m deducting a final score for the same reason (abysmal errands which block you from end story).

Personal score 8.5/10

Thanks @sYnCroSis for the gitt.

Yoku’s Island Express - :spiral_calendar: September 8th | :stopwatch: 14.8 hours | :clipboard: 8.5/10

I got this game in Humble Bundle monthly and installed to see what is it all about.

How I was surprised. Another indie gem. Well I’m a fan of metrovania games and sucker for pinball. This game is all of that combined. You’re a dung beetle. Yes “dung beetle” who got stuck on the unknown island. You start to uncover island’s inhabitants and secrets.

Game has a nice story, through which you progress by doing different quests for different characters. It also has two endings which depend on your finished quests.

Gameplay is based on metrovania games (unlocking new abilities throughout the game) and pinball.
Someone would ask how pinball fits in all of this. Well, it fits great. Boss battles and some puzzles are designed like a sort of pinball tables and played as a pinball.

Graphics are cute, on par with Rayman. Pure artistic eye candy.

Sound is OK and music fits nicely in the gameplay.

If you’re fan of these kind of games I recommend it to you since it won’t take you a lot of time to finish.

Personal score 8.5/10.
