I’m glad you liked Clair. I am about to reach the end of the game, 50 hours in. Definitely a 10/10 game. Probably gonna clear out the optional bosses and achievements too.
Just reached the end of Clair. Game made me feel things I’ve never thought I would feel. Fantastic storytelling. I’m so glad we still get games that aren’t ass.
It’s one of those quality games like Witcher 3, where after you finish it, you just can’t play mediocre games for some time. I finished it on Game Pass and then bought it on Steam. Devs deserve every € for this masterpiece.
QTE? You can disable those in the menu. Dodge and parry have a bigger time window to execute if you play on story difficulty. You are missing out on a really good game because of a simple combat system, IMO.
I don’t want to deal with 80+ hrs of that. Timed inputs don’t belong in a turn based combat. The only acception being Super Mario RPG because it’s super obvious when to hit the button and inconsequential if you miss.
I was already a fan of Journey to Savage Planet, but devs outdid themselves in this one. 100% finished it on Game Pass in co-op with my friend and bought it on Steam after. I love humor in this game, metroidvania gameplay and co-op. Recommended.
The game is fun, especially in co-op. It has nice traversal mechanic like sand-surfing. However, it’s shallow, with repetitive quests and a weak story. The combat is OK. Play it on Game Pass or buy it when is discounted. Recommended.
Dead Island 2 - 30 hrs - 6/10
If I haven’t played it in co-op with my friends, I would never finished this boring chore fest. Can’t really recommend. I’m just glad it was on Game Pass so I didn’t spend money on it.
Ball x Pit - 50 hrs - 9/10
A refreshing combo of Vampire Survivors and Arkanoid. This game is a proof that “balls” can fuck up your life. Highly addictive and recommended.
Core Keeper - 52 hrs - 8/10
A nice indie survival game. Enjoyed it playing it in co-op. Really beautiful game with a nice gameplay and a nice variety of weapons and armours. Highly recommended
