I like taking up hobbies. Haven’t done anything artsy in a while so I figured I’d try painting miniatures. Gonna post how it turns out!

Here is my first one ever! Just did it today. It’s a stormtrooper from Star Wars Legion. I went with a desert weathered theme because it seemed like it would be more forgiving.

Using Revell paints and airbrush gun. I’ve been making models since I was 5 or 6 years old, first one my brother helped me, still have it, a Vostok capsule model Had about 3 versions of DC3 Dakotas (played with them tbh ), one AC 130 Gunship which actually flew during an earthquake

@ShiftySatchmo that is a great job! I tried painting miniatures back when I played D&D. Yours looks great. Mine were ok, but the paint was always flat, I never put any effects in it.
@milkywayman Great job man! I too put models together since I was 5 or 6. I stopped once I got old though. If I’d ever get around to it, I probably have 4-5 in a box sitting around never opened still could be done, and I have a Ferrari Testarosa and a Lotus Espirit that I was working on when I stopped, they are half finished, but were coming along great. I have an X wing fighter model that got broke at some point, and I have always wanted to take that thing, and make it into a full diorama, of the Dagobah scene, like this-

Tbh I haven’t completed the Tirpitz model, sitting for about 9 years now, made one smaller airplane model for my nephew in between, and my parents were always like: aren’t you too old for this?
