Still not final, but we are close

This weekend, watch Kimi’s last win. Fucking finally.

What? What? I know he refused the first offer but this is still the most surprising thing to read this year.

Gio or Ricky, ā€˜tis the question? Vettel still has a few years on him. But clearly 21 contract is favouring Leclerc

Gio or Ricciardo, I doubt Sainz will leave McLaren now when they found the right path and switching to Mercedes engines. OOOR maybe The Hülk. My bet is Ricciardo.
Another question: Will Vettel retire or find another team? My bet is retiring, the other teams are not a valid option except Mercedes if they break up with Hamilton or Bottas.

I’d guess Gio. They clearly made the shift to Leclerc being ā€œtheā€ guy last season. I imagine they’d want a #2 driver.

Have to say Ferrari really unlikely do two number ones. Which makes it difficult for Ricly, but… this is a massive spanner. video below basically complimenting this convo.

This basically confirms the Sainz - Ferrari move

Well we got the comedy duo team of Ricc and Lando out of it! And it’ll be fun to watch Sainz push Leclerc. I like it!

holy crap. So happy for Sainz, he showed he could take it to Max. Riccy… don’t know. McLaren a good fit and they might get it together and have podium car soon. I hope so. Next announcement, Renault leaves F1 at end of 2020. Drama in 2020, but no racing :stuck_out_tongue:

Still a lot of logistical hoops to jump through before we an hope to see anything on track it seems.

Playing F1 2019 I noticed I dont like the beginning and the ending of the season and I am usually slower to get through the races. Like China and Monaco, I hate them, from Canada to Italy it is awesome, but starting Singapore it is becoming a drag ( because famously i hate city tracks ), Russia is meh, Brazil meh, Abu Dhabi meh. I usually finish one 50% race / day, but during that middle section with Europe I usually ddo two or even three races a day because i love it and when i reach the end and the start of the new season it is slower, that is the time when i put the entire game on hold for a couple of weeks because i dont like the tracks. It is just a wierd, totally random observation after 140 hours in the game and i wanted to write it.

My bet with my father was after Vettel’s departure from Ferrari was announced:

  • Vettel retire
  • Alonso or Hülk return to Renault

But today I read an article about the craziest plan: Vettel and Hamilton in the Mercedes and Bottas going to Renault. Like wtf?

How dare you call Interlagos meh! That’s my favorite track to drive in all of video games! haha.

Leclerc is supposedly filming a modern version of this short film from the 70’s. But it will be in Monaco and streets actually shut down of course. Had never heard of it. Some French director flew through the streets of Paris early one morning with a camera on his bumper. Art or something? Either way, kinda neat.

Right, Australia is more meh than Brazil

I feel the same about certain tracks, but do you think the hate and additional time spent comes from having to fiddle setups to ā€œunlockā€ the car? The tracks I hate are the one that are there because they can afford and get poorly attended. China, Russia, Bahrain etc. They just dull. However I disagree on Monaco, Brazil and Singapore. Singapore is more 50:50 though. I think I won’t like Zandvoort too, seems featureless and dull.
